Special Meeting—March 22, 2006

            This meeting was called to order at 7 PM.  The purpose was to certify the results of the Village Election, held March 21, and to conduct any other necessary business.

            Mayor Mahoney and Trustees Kelts, Pascucci, and VanDervoort were present, as well as Clerk O’Brien.  Trustee Rocque was excused.

            The result of the uncontested election was reported by the Clerk as follows:

A total of ____votes were cast.   J. Bert Mahoney, Mayor, 101 votes; Raymond Rocque, Trustee, _____ votes;  Benjamin Kelts, Trustee, _____ votes;  Edward T. Pascucci, Trustee,     _____votes; Russell VanDervoort, Trustee, _____ votes.  There were 3 write-in votes for Mayor.

            Trustee Kelts moved to accept and certify the election result as reported.   Trustee VanDervoort seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

            Trustee Kelts offered Resolution #      to pay a general fund abstract in the amount of $1,950. to pay election workers.  Trustee Pascucci offered the second.  All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

            Trustee Kelts offered Resolution #      granting a waiver of the required 30 day notification to the new owners of Kielty’s Emerald Isle.  Trustee Pascucci offered the second.  All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

            Trustee Pascucci offered Resolution #     to immediately advertise for bids to reconstruct the Forchilli Memorial Tennis Court, bids to be opened April 10.  Trustee Kelts offered the second.  All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

            As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:12 PM.
