Special Meeting—March 29, 2006

            The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM.  All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney were present.

            The purpose for the meeting was to review an application for façade improvement work on Mark Polnak’s building at 90 Broad Street.

            It was agreed to follow the “small purchase procedure”, which allows 2 quotes on materials.  It also requires a waiver from the usual procedure required for façade work.

            The Local Development Corp. has granted a loan for the project, provided the unfinished brick- work is completed.

            Trustee Kelts moved to grant the waiver of escrow for the project and follow the small purchase agreement procedure.  Trustee Rocque seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

            Trustee VanDervoort moved to hold the swearing in ceremony and organizational meeting for the new term on Monday, April 3, at 3PM.  Trustee Kelts seconded the motion; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

            The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
