Special Meeting—May 31, 2006

            The purpose of the meeting is to do fiscal year-end financial housekeeping and transfer remaining balances to the Capital Projects Fund.

            All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney were present. 

            A General Fund Abstract in the amount of $28,263.61 was presented.  Trustee Kelts moved to pay these bills upon approval of the department heads and the Village Board.  Trustee Rocque seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

            Trustee Kelts moved to accept $1,400. as payment in full for the sidewalk at 7-9 Fourth St., due to renovations that had to be made.  Trustee Rocque seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

            Trustee Kelts moved to consider  payment for the sidewalk at 7 Lawrence St. as an account receivable until it is repaired to the owner’s satisfaction.  Trustee  Rocque seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.

            After a lengthy discussion, Trustee Rocque offered Resolution #        to accept a proposal from Michael Harrigan for a fence around the basketball court.  The second was offered by Trustee Pascucci; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

            Trustee  Kelts  offered Resolution #        to approve the following budget transfers: $5,981.50 from A1990.4 and $13,514.16 from A5110.4 (total $19,495.66)

$16,138.31 to A8160.4, $1,259.19 to A7110.4; $2,068.88 to A3410.2; $26.10 to A1210.4; and $3.18 to A1320.4 (total $19,495.66).  The second was offered by Trustee Pascucci; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.           

Trustee Rocque offered Resolution #        to approve the following budget transfers:  $2.40 from A1325.1 to A1325.4; $3,000.from A8170.4 and $1,089.33 from A8160.4—a total of $4,089.33.—to: A5110.4 ($380.28), A1420.4 ($88.19), A7110.4 ($1,060.16), A8510.4 ($2,560.50) and A5010.1 ($0.20); and $23.70 from A7145.4 to A7145.44.  Also, transfers from Revenue Accounts as follows:  $1,934. from A2401 and $1,830. from A2555—a total of $3,764.—to A9950.9, the Capital Projects Fund.  Trustee Kelts offered the second; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

            Trustee  Rocque offered Resolution #       to  issue a Tax Warrant in the amount of $239,895. to be collected by the Village Tax Collector.  Trustee Pascucci offered the second; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

            Trustee Kelts moved to advertise for bids on sidewalks, with bids to be opened June 14.  Trustee Rocque seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

            The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
