Special Meeting—July 19, 2006

            The meeting was called to order at 7 PM.  All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney were present, as well as the clerk. 

Purpose of the meeting was to approve a contract with NYS DOT for a Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway Trail, at a cost to the Village of  $7,710.00.  $30,790.00, or 80% of the total cost of $38,500.00, will come from Federal aid.  Trustee Kelts offered Resolution #        authorizing the Mayor to sign the contract, pending approval of Attorney Varley.  Trustee VanDervoort offered the second; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

Trustee  Rocque offered Resolution #         authorizing the Mayor to sign an agreement with National Grid for fixtures, poles, and underground circuitry for 20 street lights on Broad St.  Trustee Kelts offered the second; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

Trustee Kelts offered Resolution #          to raise John Trueselle III to the hourly rate of $8.17, retroactive to July 1, due to the increase in his duties.  Trustee Pascucci offered the second; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

As there was no further business to conduct, adjournment was at 7:10 PM.
