Special Meeting—Jan. 17, 2007

            Mayor Mahoney called the meeting to order at 7:45 PM, following the public hearing on the proposed Local Waterfront Revitalization Program.  Present were Trustees Pascucci, Rocque, and VanDervoort, and Mayor Mahoney.  Also present were Attorney Varley and Deputy Treasurer Ryan VanDervoort.  Trustee Kelts was absent.

            Trustee Rocque moved to pay vouchers #214 and 215, totaling $5,917.26, payable to the Town of Waterford.  Trustee VanDervoort seconded the motion; all voted in favor.

            Trustee Rocque offered Resolution #        to adopt the LWRP Definitions.  Trustee VanDervoort seconded and all voted in favor.  There was a discussion on removal of natural vegetation along the waterways.

            Trustee Rocque offered Resolution #        to accept the Overlay District.  The motion was seconded by Trustee VanDervoort.  After discussion, Trustee Pascucci moved to table the motion.  There was no second made and the motion died.  The vote on the Overlay District was as follows:  Trustee Pascucci, No; Trustee Rocque Yes; Trustee VanDervoort, Abstain; Mayor Mahoney, Abstain.  The motion was defeated.

            Mayor Mahoney moved to hold another special meeting on Jan. 24 at 7PM on this subject. 

Trustee Pascucci seconded the motion and all voted in favor.

            There was a discussion concerning a new nozzle on the kiddie pool, installation of a new ceiling in the Village office at a cost of approximately $200 and construction of a new bookcase and file space at a cost of $300.

            The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM.
