Special Meeting—March 19, 2008

The purpose of this meeting is to accept the tally of votes cast at the Village Election held on March 18, 2008.  Mayor Mahoney and Trustees Kelts, Pascucci, and VanDervoort were present.  Trustee Rocque was absent.

All of the incumbents, running unopposed, were reelected.  Total votes received were tallied as follows:  Mayor Mahoney, 66; Trustee Kelts, 61; Trustee Pascucci, 61; Trustee Rocque, 62, and Trustee VanDervoort, 60.  There were 2 write-in votes for mayor and 2 for trustee.  There was a grand total of 74 voters for the day.  Trustee Kelts moved to accept the tally of votes cast.  Trustee VanDervoort seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

            Trustee Kelts moved to pay a General Fund abstract totaling $2,787.26.  Trustee Pascucci offered the second; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted Yes.

            Trustee Kelts offered Resolution #       to accept the proposal from Tremblay Associates to help coordinate  Canalfest for 2008 at a cost of $1,500.  .  Trustee Pascucci offered the second; all Trustees and Mayor Mahoney votes Yes.

            The meeting was adjourned at 7:16 PM.
