Regular Meeting December 9, 2009

 

     The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM. Present were Mayor Mahoney, Trustee Kelts,Rocque and Carson. Trustee VanDervoort was absent.

Clerk Koblensky, Attorney Varly and Treasurer Ryan VanDerVoort were present. Also present were Bob Lowther, Craig Falcone,

Chief JohnFairclough, Jim O’Brien Skip, Moores and Eric Esterby. Trustee Kelts moved to waive the reading from the previous meeting.

Trustee                       Rocque seconded the motion, which passed unanimously

                                  COMMITTEE REPORTS:

      Trustee Carson reports- The parade was a success the lighting of the park went well, thanks to Craig,Ted and all who helped with the decorating.

      Next year were looking into possible day long event for parade day with the town.   Trustee Rocque reports- Leaf bag pickup, Street sign repair,

                                  Street maint. Park decorating.Full report is available in the Village Office. Trustee Kelts reports- Village is in good order, no complaints 

The financial reports for the month of November are as follows: Checking Acct. $66,485; Money Market Acct. $95,787; for a total fund

                                   balance of $162,271. Special projects fund balance $7,398; Unaudited Utilites $5,921; Payroll $ 5,701; Section 8, $23,641.

The current abstract is $44,304 and special projects abstract is $10,700. Funds Transfer of $60,000 from the Money Market Acct. to the

General Fund Account to fund Approved Audited Abstract from November 11, meeting. Made Principal ($50,000) & Interest ($1,426)

                                  Payments on the Streets Debt Service for the total of $51,426. Trustee Kelt moved to pay the bill upon the approval of the department heads

                                 and the Village Board. Trustee Rocque seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Trustee Kelts offered resolution#       to increase fire

                                dept. contractual A3410.4 by $4,107.30. Trustee Rocque offered the second. All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted yes. Trustee Kelts

                                  offered resolution#      approve line officers for 2010. The J.W. Ford Hose Companyelected the following Line Officers for the calendar year

                                 2010. Eric Esterby-Captian, Andy Castle-1st Lt, Steve Bonnier-2nd Lt. The Kavanaugh Hook and Ladder Company elected the following 

                                Line Officers for the calender year 2010. Don Baldwin- Captain, Jeff O’Connor- 1st Lt., Michael Koblensky2nd Lt. The Knickerbocker Steamer

                                 Company elected the following line Officers for the calendar year 2010. Matt Roy- Captain, Mike Byrnes- 1st Lt., Tim Kimball-2nd Lt.

                                 Congratulations to all. Trustee Rocque offered the second. All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted yes. Trustee Kelts offered resolution#    

                                  to surplus U642 and allow the truck to be sold or auctioned.Trustee Rocque offered the second. All Trustees and Mayor Mahoney voted yes.

As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:38PM.
