Dear Waterford/RiverSpark Canal Festival Vendor: The annual Waterford/RiverSpark Canal Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 11th, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM in Lock 2 Park, Battery Park and Button Park, Waterford. We look forward to inviting guests back to enjoy all we have to offer! If you intend to participate in this year's Canal Festival as a vendor, please fill out the enclosed contract and return the last page to the Village of Waterford as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, April 27 th, 2013. Applications not received on or before Friday, April 27th, 2013 maynot be accepted. Space is limited and will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. The earlier you return the contract, the better your chances of participation. Reservations cannot be held unless the $35 fee accompanies the contract. Space size is approximately 10' by 10'. If you feel your booth’s footprint will exceed a 10’ by 10’ space, it will be necessary to pay an additional $35 for an additional space. The attached contract explains the rules of operation for all vendors. As the time of the event draws closer, you will receive a map with your assigned space and set-up instructions, but you should not expect to receive this information prior to May 1, 2013. Vendors are encouraged to set up on Friday, May 10 th between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The Village of Waterford is in noway responsible for merchandise left overnight. Please note the “hold harmless” clause (#9) in your contract. Please read your contract carefully, as there have been some changes from previous years. Lock 2, Button and Battery Parks are located off Broad Street (Rt. 32) in the Village of Waterford. Specific directions for your particular set-up area will be included on your space assignment sheet. If there is a particular space you would like or have had in the past, please feel free to so indicate in the “comments” portion of the application and we will do our best to accommodate you, though we cannot guarantee that space will be available.
